| rune makei02-24-05, 12:53 PM | I plan on writting my own adventrues the parties to continue. I dont think that Im initially going to cary over the theme of creation patterns and schema's and such into my written adventures. I havent finished all the modules yet (still on SOTLW) but Im looking ahead. Here was an idea that I though of but am really having a problem with finding an antagonist (or the "bad guy"). If anyone has ever seen Robotech (the US version) then you know about the whole Zentradi breed for war thing. The problems they faced as they tried to blend in with society, etc... I am going to use this as inspiration for the warforged. Breed for war but now have to find their way in a new life. I'm looking for a racial or ethical type tension for the adventure. I want a group(s) that are out to destroy the warforged becuase they are abominations or something like that. Then we have the PC's, who purposfully or accidently get roped into stopping the ethnic cleansing of the warfroged. I am going to start the adventure out with a giant parade in Sharn that celebrates an anniversary of the signing of Thronehold. I think that this is a good time for warforged everywhere to celebrate since it marks their freedom as an independant lifeform. I know I have a good start I just need a few pieces of information to get me along. I need a good antagonist or maybe three to spice it up a bit. I need some good incedents to highlight the subject of a forges purpose in life. Thoughts, opinions? |

Personally, I wouldn't have all the "accounts come due" right away when you finish the modules. Let them have an adventure or two, and then start dropping the ceiling. Every so often, something big and magical that they've bought/found/stole disappears (be sure to actually roll this so it's somewhat fair,) or an occasional Thuranni assassin decides to get them... put a massive bounty out for them, thus getting Thrashk, Thuranni, Phirlan, Denith, and all the independent inquisitives, bounty hunters, and all the people who are out for a quick buck and have no qualms about doing violence. Then get them to clear their name. |

I have two "antagonists" now all I need to do is get a twist in there for some confusion. I kind of like the idea of the PC's having to clear their name. Thanks and keep the suggestions coming. THis will be my first adventure for Eberron that I would write so I want to make it a good, memorable one. |
