So anyway, I am running Age of Worms, and we are doing in in Ebberon. Has anyone got general notes for Eberronifying the campaign, beyond the stuff that comes with it?

In particular, I am thinking of making Kyuss one of the six remaining Daelkyr. He's basically the right power level: ECL 20 - demigod level. So that requires altering the backstory a little.

I might do the fight with Kyuss with the stats as written in the module, but change the fluff.

The name Kyuss getrs introduced at module one. I'm thinking that Allustan is a gatekeeper, and knows who Kyuss is, but just cause his name is mentioned doesn't mean anything - there are plenty of cults to this or that Lord of Darkness that are just scams.

Another thought is making Allustan an artificer instead of a wizard, and pumping up his level big time. Seems a little odd that the party eventually goes epic, but old Allustan is 8th level. Perhaps leave his wizard level as-is, but add in some levels of artificer.

Anyway. Can anyone point me at some material?

08-05-07, 10:33 PM Keith Baker talked about the statted up Daelkyr in the ECS as not being one of the Daelkyr lords. Just a lower general I believe. Kyuss as one of the six remaining lords would be much much higher than 23 or 24. Whatever his CR is in the final adventure.
