A multiple part question for all of you.

I'm interested in ... letting my party find / discover a custom one of a kind airship that's been missing for years.

First of all, I have some ideas as to the "custom" parts of the airship. But my concern is how do I go about mapping this airship? Is there a program or anything I can use to make a fairly detailed map of the craft?

Once this is complete, how should I go about making an actual map of the craft more permanant? I was thinking of mapping it out on a graph tablet and having it laminated, but are there other options?

I really don't want to map out the craft everytime they're on it.

Finally, are there any pre-made airship maps somewhere? Even user or custom crafts are welcome.
Thanks again.

Players guide to Eberron page 33 has a side view. Or just nick a standard ship you like and modify it a bit.

I actually just took the image of the Theurgeme from the Stormwrack (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/4map/20050826a) map gallery on the wizards site and had my wife do a little of her photoshop magic to remove the paddle wheels from the sides and turn them into the elemental struts and then remove those engine looking things in the hold and turn them into more floor. I just said that the glowing room on the hold level was the elemental binding/shard containment area and it wall all good.
