Profession (sailor) is the skill used for flying an airship, I don't believe it is stated how skill checks vary for each crewmember. Perhaps Stormwrack has more to say on that issue. Details on ship stats are given on page 28 of the ExH. Airworthiness is a bonus to the Profession (sailor) check to avoid/minimise damage from hazards in which strength of a vessel is key, and shiphandling is the same but for hazards in which the nimbleness of the vessel helps. |

Details for this are given starting on page 27 of the Explorer's Handbook (though they give a nod to the much more detailed system in Stormwrack). And as a rule, most of the crew isn't directly dealt with; it is assumed that they are all doing their job, and successfully. The total performance of the crew is estimated by the profession (sailor) checks that the captain (or master) makes. If you read the section before the stat blocks, on the pages I mentioned, it will explain what the Airworthiness and Shiphandling modifiers. |
