Well where to start.

Over the last couple of nights my Eberron campaign has taken an interesting turn. An NPC who has been absent trying to rescue Bulwark from the LoBster (i didn't feel like running it with the PCs) returned. She had been hit by an Eldritch machine type effect and was effectivly in a coma. Lucen (from WoVB) bought this to the parties attention. Jade (the NPC) was impossible to cure even with a miracle cast by a Planetar the party recently freeded. A gnoll arrived at the safe house they were in with a message from the three sisters of Droamm. It said they knew how to cure her. So the party set out for Droamm...

The party are

Gervais Rogue 7, Master Inquisitive 5 human about to take siberys of Tharasskh. Jades lover and sort of party leader. He is obviously destraught at her condition.

Gabriel d'Orien Paladin 7, Exocist of the SF 5 bearing a greater dragonmark. Jade is a close friend and he is a paladin so he is kinda made to help.

Adarel Cleric 5, Hand of the keeper(a refluffed PrC I nicked from FR) 5, Comtemplative 1. The recently promoted Arch Hierophant of sharn and ex aide to the Keeper.

Sien ir'Ostren Swashbuckler 11. Idiotic swordswoman(the parties opinion...)

Kashanna Kalashtar Psion 9, Gervais' cohort and Gabrial's lover.

Jade d'Thuranni Bard 4, Rogue 3, Dragonmark heir 5. Socialite, singer and queen *****. as mentioned unconscious, also slowly dying.

The party get to the Great Crag after a slight fracas with a war troll(MMIII) and its band of bandits. They survived and buried the troll head down in the road with stoneshape. At the Crag Sora Katya explains what they must do. Get blood from a arcane spellcaster aboleth... They find out about the crimson ship (EXH) and head off to catch it. Catch it they do and after a breif fight with some Rakshasas get to the aboleths lair a sunken hobgob underground city. They win the fight get the blood and return to the crag.

Now they have to spend three days waiting for the potion to brew. During this time Sora Katya teases them a bit, okay a lot. In their final audience with the sisters Gabriel loses it and rants at the hags... They don't kill him but Sora Katya demands an apology with a kiss on the hand which eventually Gabriel does. Then on getting the potion he mouthes off again which is the final straw and I strip his Paladin status for pride and risking someones life who can not defend them self. The party exit via Gabriels teleport mark spooge. They give Jade the potion. Gabriel realises he is no longer a paladin and eventually seeks redemption and atonement from the arch heirophant, he gets this after helping a needy goblin family get a better place in the world.

Now to the main point. the xp the players got from this jaunt push Gervais into level 13. His siberys mark is growing. Now Gervais doesn't know he is Tharaskh, his mum being of negotiable virtue and all. He hasn't noticed the swirls on his back. After passionate reunion Jade now conscious again does notice and despite loving him back leaves him. The whole mixed mark stuff. Gervais is most upset. Eventually as he sorts him self out he will begin to plan.

That is where we ended but being players we had a long postgame chat about what to do. It came up in this that Gervais has a Wish in a Luckblade the party grabbed off the Rakshasas. The player now plans for Gervais to wish himself into an elf...

I'm fairly sure what to do about this, but I would love to here your ideas on this, just what to do to him and how the Chamber would react. I trust in you to make me giggle.

We have a campaign help thread for this...

I've answered your question there and think your game is wonderful sounding.

Yeah, nice to here you like my game.
Interesting idea as well.
Mostly I'm now pondering how will the public react to a famous adventurer suddenly becoming an elf. Maybe they'll just decide he was a a changeling all along. Though I could get screwy on the legal side of things...

I think that depends on his previous claim as his person. Certainly, many will decry him as a "race traitor", elves will think of him as a wannabe, and others will immediately want to speak with them on how he did it if he's got a longer lifespan from it.

Well Gervais has made his wish. He wished to become an elf of the Thuranni bloodline.

So on the whim of the dice I decided which body he got...

So he is now a she. Its probably a good thing he's recently got a hat of disguise.
