| Crux11-05-04, 03:20 PM | How does that sound? I know I would love to play a campagin where my party explores ankor wat to find ancient lore and be creeped out and marveled by the different ancient culture that has been wiped out. Not to mention all the abominations you could use, such as those vines that grow on the stairs to the entrance that turn into assassin vines, as well as animated statues along the entrances that desire is one thing - defend the ancient scroll of ____ that causes ____ and was put away by Chieftain ____. Has anyone ever tried throwing in things like this in their campagin, or perhaps even played in it? I know the setting is perfect for Xen'Drik which is one of the main reasons why I am so stoked about this setting- (I have only had an introductory session with the three characters individually, and next session they all meet to do as they wish.) Something about ancient ruins just has a epic-feel to it that makes me all jittery and adventourous, methinks if things were different I would be underwater south east of japan a few hundred miles searching the lost contenent of Mu. |
