| Isran_Imrador11-21-05, 01:34 PM | What a great new Sharn Inq. Many new battles from the last war, & a great Aundairian hero. Next Sar at noon, the general's funeral procession will begin at the Chalice Center lightning rail station, then proceed past the University of Wynarn. As it passes, the University choir will perform Lay of the Dragonhawk, March of Tensin, and a new work entitled The Charger Spurs Us Onward. The procession is scheduled to arrive in the Sovereign Ward's Hall of the Assembled Host at 2 p.m. for Dol Arrah's Ceremony for the Departed. Then Chaussinar's body will lie in state for three days in Fairhold Palace's Vermillion Pavilion. Viewing hours there will extend from sunrise to sunset. Check you ExHb to find your lightning rail time so you make it for the viewing hours & Dol Arrah's Ceremony for the Departed. May Aundair retake Thaliost before your souls is forgotten & taken by the Keeper. General Eriell "Charger" Chaussinar be at peace at last. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- What do they do under Dol Arrah's Ceremony for the Departed anyway? | Kryptonian Scion11-21-05, 02:28 PM | Yeah, it was awesome. Where's this "Fairhold" again? Ooooooohhhh, Fairhaven? Fills me with confidence that both David Noonan and Mat Smith don't care enough about Eberron to get names of capitals or book release dates correct. Anyone want to put money on the first Preview article of the Xen'drik book being in May, with a description of "I haven't gotten a look at this one?" If these guys are getting paid for Eberron material, they need to read the damn material. |
| Kid SixXx11-21-05, 02:55 PM | Hmm. Fairhold is the section of Fairhaven where the nobilty resides as per the Five Nations sourcebook. Fairhold Palace is the royal seat of Aundair. Article looks fine to me. |
| Isran_Imrador11-21-05, 02:57 PM | Fairhold is the royal court in Fairhaven so what are you talking about... |
| makeshiftwings11-21-05, 04:15 PM | Yeah, I really wish people who flamed the writers of Eberron material actually took time to read their material first. |
| Kryptonian Scion11-21-05, 07:45 PM | My apologies. The content in Five Nations was a little scattered, and I never noticed that. I am a jackass. |
| Kid SixXx11-21-05, 07:52 PM | My apologies. The content in Five Nations was a little scattered, and I never noticed that. I am a jackass. Bah. Being wrong does not make you a jackass. There are worst things in the world to be than wrong, good sir, and you can correct being wrong by seeking the proper info. :D |
| Isran_Imrador11-22-05, 05:07 AM | So what else did everyone get out of the S.I this time? anyone writing up the music? or...? |
| CorporateNinja11-23-05, 01:06 AM | But in 970 YK, in the aftermath of the Raven Incursion into central Aundair, his Ode to Spring consisted of a single poem called The Horseshoe's Lure. On the day of its publication, Chaussinar resigned his position at the university and enlisted in the Aundairian cavalry. Who are the Ravens? I don't remember reading anything about him/her/them in the ECS. Anyone know what they're talking about? |

Sounds more like the name of a military operation a-la the Tet Offensive or Operation Overlord than a group or individual to me. That's a dozen years after the Eldeen Reaches declared independence, but it could have been an attack from the Reachers to claim more or disputed territory, or from any other of Aundair's rivals at the time. |
