Now, without arguing about which is better (I like both, actually), I've got another question: Is this a deliberate reference to Eberron? The Eberron setting deals very heavily with Aberrations, and the Daelkyr are actually known as "The Lords of Madness". The druidic orders fight against them, they're found all over the Mournlands, and they seem to be common enemies at all levels in Eberron. Obviously, the book will end up having useful applications in the Eberron setting, but does anyone out there have any idea of whether this is a deliberate connection (to provide more support, or draw more people into Eberron, or whatever), or is it just a happy coincidence? |
