Check out the new dragonshard: Dwarves of the Mror Holds (Part 1). I am sure there will be a more formal thread on the entire dragonshard, but I would like this one to focus on one special aspect of this article...

The dwarves themselves have many tales from this age of glory, though it is difficult to separate fact from myth. Tales speak of Stone Kings and Dragon Keepers, of runesmiths forging mighty blades in the depths. This age came to an end in the reign of Lord Kordran Mror. A number of warriors and heroes had stirred up unrest in the deep realm, and Mror banished twelve of the leaders plus their followers to the surface of the mountains. The depths were sealed off with magical wards and a clan of wardens sent to the lands above to ensure that the seals remained until the others "proved themselves to be worthy of the kingdom below."

Twelve dwarven lords?
Could the +1 be Lord Mror, whose kingdom was lost to the Daelkyr and Khyber? What could this mean of the Prophecy?

A lost clan of duergar, surviving descendants of the Korgran Mror's subterranean kingdom, lost amid Khyber and the horrors of the Daelkyr, resurface in the Mournlands. There they meet with the Blood of Vol, studying a relic covered with ancient runes of Old Common. A battle commences, and the blood of the duergar falls upon the relic. A pillar of light shoots into the clouds above, opening up a strange portal to the realm of Dal Quor.

Sound cool? I think it does!

Yes! A new 12+1! I've been waiting for it. Dal Quor, the Mournland, Old Common, the Blood of Vol, and now the Lost Clan... Mwahahaha!

(please reply if there is another 12+1 I am missing, I want to get them all listed).

LewisLlynn, Saurenda, WudWaen and my(humble)self have been trying to compile this very list. Our best efforts so far can be found here.....

http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=305965

Scroll down to about half way down the first page to find the current uber-list of 12+1s.
Please be aware that this whole area is still a hot-bed of controversy and friendly argument, so don't take anything as lore.

The article wasn't clear about this to me. It seems to indicates that were 12 clans banished to the surface, that one clan that was the keeper of the seal (Kundarak), and that another clan was under the surface getting beat down by the Daelkyr. I could be wrong.

One solution here, to Keith!

Good eyes, Darkest90. Though of course most of these are complete (or almost complete) coincedence, boy, is it fun to wonder! GrayS, if you could get Kieth to make up names for the twelve clans, we'd have another 13 to add to our list!

Who wants to put odds down that there are 12 lost things, and a +1 lost thing that you will find out about once all the others have been found. This would drive a sage into a homicidal rage.

Hey thanks for the link! Very cool, good job guys.

Who wants to put odds down that there are 12 lost things, and a +1 lost thing that you will find out about once all the others have been found. This would drive a sage into a homicidal rage.

I definitely think that this may be what happens. All thirteen will come into power, and one will rise above all of them... Mwahaha! I definitely think that the Prophecy is some sort of doomsday omen.

Anyway, there are only a couple of 12+1s that I know of.

Nations
The twelve respected nations of Khorvaire are Aundair, Breland, Darguun, the Eldeen Reaches, Karrnath, the Lhazaar Principalities, the Mror Holds, Q'barra, the Talenta Plains, Thrane, Valenar, and Zilargo.
The fallen nation is Cyre, which is now the Mournland. The Mournland plays a certain part of the Prophecy.

Dragonmark Houses
The twelve Dragonmarked Houses of today is Medani, Tharashk, Vadalis, Jorasco, Ghallanda, Cannith, Orien, Sivis, Deneith, Phiarlan and Thuranni, Lyrandar, Kundarak.
The fallen Dragonmarked House is House Vol, that harbored the Mark of Death. They fell in the War of the Mark. They live on through the vengeful Blood of Vol.

Planes
The twelve normal planes of the Eberron cosmology are Daanvi, Dolurrh, Fernia, Irian, Kythri, Lamannia, Mabar, Risia, Shavarath, Syrania, Thelanis, and Xoriat.
The fallen plane is Dal Quor, of which the civilization of Xen'drik giants fought against in the Quori Invasion, when Dal Quor became coterminous. They used powerful magic to knock Dal Quor out of planar orbit, but it simultaneously tore apart their entire civilization.

Alphabets
Not much information of this one, except that there are twelve alphabets used in Eberron today, and a thirteenth alphabet called Old Common that was destroyed by the Inspired.

And then, we have the dwarven clans. Cool deal. I bet there will be more 12+1s hidden inside the Sharn book coming out this month.

Sense this appears to be the newest one, I will post my finding here.
I have been looking through a lot of the threads that people have created about the Prophcy and 12+1 and found one small little thing. If this has been covered before, sorry. I just wanted to say it.
Have you ever noticed that (I havn't read all the details but here goes) it isn't that the 13th thing goes... just that it changed.
Every says that the 13th thing disappears, but really it is more of change... May the Prophecy (As written in the ECS book) is about change.
"Death" Moon disappeared.. (Unless I read it wrong, it never really exploded.. It just vanished)
"Death" Mark vanished (It could be hiding somewhere)
Old Common, just because Khorvaire doesn't speak it doesn't mean it can't return from Sarlona.
Planes (Dal Quor was pushed away, maybe it will return)
One of the ones that I just found was people talking about the dragons. Their are 10 true dragons and then the Dragon Above, Below, and Between (this is what sparked my change idea) everyone kept saying that the dragon above (Siberys) sacrificed himself and made the ring around the world... Well who is to say that Siberys can't come back and just have the ring disappear so he is whole again...
The second spark to this speal was the nations.. thier were 13 nations to begin with (cyre being alive) then when the Last War ended Cyre became the Mournlands (a place where no one could live (cept warforged) and so they are what changed to make a -1 to the orginal 13 nations.

Yeah this has probably be gone over before, but maybe the prophecy is just what is written in it, the prophecy is always being compeletly, but will never be completely as long as their is a 13 to make a 12.
