| Zelin08-05-05, 11:01 PM | Vol is dead. The last to bear the Mark of Death is gone. The 13th moon appears anew as the Prophecy attempts to fill the void. Aberrant dragonmarks are on the rise. A new Mark will be formed but what will it be? There are several contenders but only the strong survive.... As a backdrop to the campaign I'd like to add to the chaos already in Eberron by creating a few new Marks. My basic thought is that after Vol's death the Prophecy will create several new full fledged Marks but only one will prove strong / lucky enough to survive and find a niche. I am, however, in need of some ideas for the new marks and would like some suggestions. I would personally like one with Telekinesis as the Greater Mark but not quite sure what the Least and Lesser marks would be or what niche it would have. |
| Zelin08-06-05, 02:15 AM | Mark of Manipulation Least: Tenser's Floating Disk, +2 Concentration(?) Lesser: Greater Mage Hand (as mage hand except 10 lb. / CL and medium range) Greater: Telekinesis Siberys: Telekinetic Sphere Niche: I see the bearer's of this mark being a city's porters and "teamsters". You'd probably find them unloading cargo at the docks or moving heavy cargo to construction sites. In times of war (as Eberron is such a peaceful place...) they'd move the artillery and other machines of war. They'd almost certainly be part of the Transportation Guild unless House Orien chooses to be hostile (see below). I imagine there would be a Dragonshard item to increase the duration and area limits on tenser's... Reactions: House Orien would probably see them as a potential threat. They could possibly choose to annihilate them or perhaps subsume them within the Transportation Guild. Afterall, there will be a 13th House -- better that it be subservient to Orien than another House. |
