| igotsmeakabob!!02-15-06, 02:24 AM | I have a party of 3 6th level Gestalt characters. A changeling psion/rogue/incarnate, a human paladin/favored soul, and a warforged fighter/artificer. They may be 7 when the current adventure ends. Would they be OK in the Mournlands? I have been reading the 1001 Mournland Horrors and I decided I just have to send them in to experience the horror of The Mournland. Most of the monsters that you'd find in the Mournlands.. would my party survive? Also if theres a list of where I can find most of the monsters that would occur there... lemme know. I have all of the Eberron books and every monster manual, including fiend folio and a few others... thanks alot. |

Since Repair spells work fine, your warforged fighter/artificer is excellently suited for combat in the Mournlands. Your paladin's Lay on Hands is not a Cure spell, so it works fine in the Mournlands too. And the psion incarnate's ability to go incorporeal will protect him from a lot of damage. I would point your PCs towards purchasing a reasonable amount of goodberry wine, and possibly a wand of such for the artificer, as well as a Charisma booster for the paladin so that he may cure more, and your party should be reasonably well-equipped for this mission - so long as you don't overdo it. |

| Will_Shakespeare02-15-06, 05:22 AM | Hi there, goodberry wine is made from berries enchanted by the Goodberry spell (PHB 3.5 p.237). And a wand of goodberry will be doing just fine in the Mournlands (but you should be taking some berries with you, cause you'll never know where in the Mournland you'll find some ;) ). Hope that helps. Cheers Will |

| Will_Shakespeare02-15-06, 08:05 AM | They also need a wand of rope trick. Ed I second that. An eternal wand of rope trick will give you the opportunity to use every kind of healing twice per day (duration 3 hours each), even natural healing and spells from the healing subschool. Cheers Will |

The big challenge is with multiple encounters with limited or no healing, so if they are gestalt 6's, then throw 3 or 4 CR 4 or CR 5 encounters at them in a day and they'll be in a rough place, but it won't probably be a TPK. |
