02-14-07, 03:56 PM Hey guys, it's been a while since I've posted any Eberron art here and I don't think I've shared this one yet. It was a private commission of a player's Drow character and his giant scorpion animal companion hanging out in the jungles of Xen'drik:

02-15-07, 02:01 AM Your art is solid, wish I had half the talent. I did question the use of the bright colors... but that is my only critism. Otherwise brilliant work.

Just curious, what kind of shield is that? I really want one that looks like that, just wondering if it is an official type or just a cool concept. Thanx.

02-15-07, 04:48 AM It's a very nice picture. I like this comic style and strong colors. And I really think it fits very well into the Eberron Setting.

But I can't decide which one is better, the darker or the brighter one... :cool:

My personal suggestion would be to include a "Unfinished" or "Sketches" type section. Another one would be to make several galleries, for different types/genrees of art. However, this is just me being greedy :P

The original's hanging over my desk and I've got a bigger color print in the works too. I still can't say enough good things about it.

As for the character Xilik himself, he's still alive and well in the campaign :D

The shield's chitinous, just like the armor, but rules-wise counts as made of darkwood. :]

02-26-07, 12:31 PM DMAC, I've been following your art since years back on the PA art board, and I have to say, I wish I were in a game with you just to have an excuse to bug you for some character sketches. :)

Also, I really enjoyed fiddling with your filenames to see the progression of the work you did on this piece. Very cool to see the art change over time.
