It would have things like Last War tech, weapons, armor, vehicles (to include stats fro all), miscellaneous stuff that is with the flavor of the setting. |
| Bubba33310-08-04, 07:19 AM | Anyone (man, I need a life...:D)??? |
| Saurenda10-08-04, 09:18 AM | Sounds neato. It gives a chance to make some interesting items. What did you have in mind? Right now I am working on a very small item for caltrops. All it does is emulate burning hands, but as far as caltrops go it is quite nice for a minor wonderous item, and a fleeing artifcer. Did you want bigger things, or more in the sense of actual weapons? |
| Bubba33310-08-04, 10:09 AM | No, that's cool! Burning caltrops are things you'd find in Batman's utility belt and that makes them pulpy and good! :D Also, I mean things like what kind of seige engines might have been used, the stats for airships, Zilargo submersibles, what they use to print the Korranberg Chronicle, etc. You know...stuff. At the moment I can't add to my own thread as I JUST woke up! :D |
| Save-vs-DM10-09-04, 10:26 PM | I'll see what Ic an do about this as well. If I have time I'll try to do a few items for each issue of the K.C. and post them on the website. No promises though, I'm a bit busy at the time. Though this might be a good thread to start things on. Maybe Saur can post his flaming caltrops of doom? Cheers, Save vs DM |
| Bubba33310-10-04, 06:15 AM | That gives me an idea: magical landmines! Landmines are a horrific weapon in our world, so why not in Eberron? I can see an explosive spell of some kind being "placed in a box" and then buried. Creepy...very creepy. Any ideas as to some good spells to use? |
| Brastan10-10-04, 06:35 AM | Anyone (man, I need a life...:D)??? (Your telling me. What its past 3 here in AZ... why am not asleep?) I would like to see a WotC official releases. The story behind Eberron is sold and I haven't had a problem with it. But I'm feeling a lack of attention to da'rules as it were. Either an Eberron Tool Box or an Eberron Arms and Equipment Guide, including rules help from making more Eberron items by the substantial and creative (manic) fan base. We'll I'm gone, there are some Quori I fell like harassing a bit more. |
| Pallis10-10-04, 02:34 PM | Bubba...I like the sound of those magical landmines! :mymy: |
| Bubba33310-10-04, 05:31 PM | <<(Your telling me. What its past 3 here in AZ... why am not asleep?)>> Because we're both junkies? :D <<Bubba...I like the sound of those magical landmines!>> Thanks! I used to do EOD work and I can tell you that landmines are THE Masters of the Pucker Factor! Some seriously sick and creepy crap! Ooh! Imagine a spell-mine construct that could pick and choose its targets? We have them now, so why not in Eberron, eh? |
| Just another user10-10-04, 06:59 PM | That gives me an idea: magical landmines! Landmines are a horrific weapon in our world, so why not in Eberron? Explosive runes Put it on a sign, as soon as someone read it *BOOM* Symbol of death Stone spikes a bead from a necklace of fireball or similiar item Edward's black tentacles Variant of these spells, or these spell set so to be triggered someway could excelent "minefields" and like modern mines there could be places in Eberron when there are still some of these spells, ready to be activated. |
| Bubba33310-10-04, 08:50 PM | What about fireball? Would that work? Of course, we'd have to make magical mineprobes and the like, eh? |
| greatfrito10-10-04, 11:49 PM | Heh, it's called "Detect Magic" and I think everyone and their mother has it. ... Assuming that everyone's a spellcaster, and so is their mother... |
| Bubba33310-11-04, 12:37 AM | Yea, that'd definetely be in the item, but a way to employ and detect buried spellmines is the trick. |
| Pallis10-11-04, 02:42 AM | ...so who used magical landmines the most during the LW? I'd imagine they'd be House Cannith constructions...but who would be the highest bidder in terms of which nation got to plant them across their borders...? |
| Ectoplasmoid10-11-04, 07:45 AM | -Alchemical- Woundbinder-Automatically stabilizes somebody if they've sustained slashing/piercing damage equal to |their negative hp|. 25 gp, Craft DC 25 Kaf- Distilled Coffee, supresses fatigue, but when the effect ends you become exhausted. 2 gp. Craft DC 15 Liquid Couage- +1 alchemical bonus on saves against fear. 10 gp Craft DC 20 -Magical- Smoke pellets- obscuring mist as prereq, better than smokesticks because it's only a move to toss them and they have a range increment of 10 feet. last for 1 minute. Land mine- alarm + (fire trap+open/close)/(burning hands)/(fireball?) Substitute detect magic for alarm for anticaster mines, or detect alignment for antipaladin/undead troop mines, or detect thoughts for golem-safe mines, (or deathwatch for anti/safe for warforged mine) Flame thrower- 1) large metal tube, with a handle welded on in a gun shape. fireproof holding pads. 2) bound air elemental at one end making a constant "gust of wind" 3) other end open. 4) on the top of the tube, a hose leading to a backpack tankful of alchemist's fire, pumped by hand 5) when you pump, a gout of fire sprays out of then open end, dealing 1d6 in a 10 foot line, and 1d6 on the next turn if they cant extinguish the flames |
