DargonSwift 01-09-06, 04:27 PM	Possibly, though that would be more of a bardic knowledge speciality. The artificer's knowledge is more focused on what it does, not who made it. However, an artificer would be familiar with different styles of crafting, and so would have a very good chance to identify who made it. Though, if the item were ancient, you might apply some negative modifiers unless that artificer has a resonable amount of cause to be familiar with such things.
