mf_v1 02-22-05, 07:27 PM	Hello all, while no-one'll remember me, I floated on here 'bout six months ago asking people to sell me (and by extension my group) on Eberron and 3.5 in general. Needless to say, our willpower failed and gaming-gene took over, we've got waaaay too many D&D books now. So, thanks for blowing all my hard earned cash for me guys! Heh. - Okay, more practically, we've played Eberron a little now, doing both Shadows of the Last War and Vampire Blade, which were enjoyable enough, but didn't, for us at least, realise the potential that the setting/game/world has to offer. So... We're putting together our own campaign now, having become comfortable with 3.5 in general and Eberron in particular. It's based on a wonderfully 'yoinked' hook from rpg.net, basically lifting Farscape's plot onto an airship and flying around Eberron while (effectively) everyone chases us, and doing other things as we go. We've got two of our three characters finished up, and are waiting on the third, so we have... (because, naturally, you HAVE to know what our PC's are): Ci'kiah D'Lyrandar (Me) Khoravar Level 2 Rogue/Level 1 Artificer, on the run from the underworld in Sharn. Auruk of the Eagle Claw Tribe, son of Tarak, Grandchild of Terek (Fellow fool) Sarlonan Level 3 Barbarian. The last guy is gonna be a Cleric of those crazy deathless elves, apparently. He's bloody lazy though and hasn't made the character yet. The basic premise is that we're all on the run from someone, Quori, Blood of Vol, so forth... And steal ourselves the dryad-controlled Airship created secretly by house Cannith. Thus the running around, madness and fun. We're all pretty psyched on the whole thing now, and are putting stuff together for it as we go, and it's garnered the most player material (backgrounds, plots, journals) of any game in ages. I don't know if this idea has been brought up yet here, but I thought I'd let people know anyhow, and if there's any interest in how things progress I'll let you all know. Anyway, cheers.
