I am assuming the Emerald Claw is still quite annoyed with them and is not going to stand by idlely. My characters tend to stay in cities...would the Emerald Claw send a group of thugs to dispatch them in an alley or do an assassination attempt? I like the idea of a sneaky assassination attempt to make my players be a bit more careful. Any ideas on how to run the assassination attempt? Thanks |

When things get slow, have them "kick in the door." But I do think the Emerald Claw would hire assassins. Make a mixed group (1 primary assassin, 1 spell caster, 1 tank) so if the first strike doesn't work, they have options. But remember, most assassin squads won't fight to the death. They strike and may be willing to make a second round, but once things go badly for them, they'll run. |
