08-30-04, 11:33 PM Your two "For DMs:" threads were excellent ideas! Lots of great ideas in them, and they allow DMs to share what they've come up with, for the betterment of all.

However this leads me to another thought- perhaps we need an "Eberron DMs" forum section. A place to keep these ideas all together, to allow DMs of Eberron games a place to take about the issues that matter to those of us who play behind the screen.

I think it would become a great resource to everyone who wants to run an Eberron game. Thoughts?

08-31-04, 03:36 AM I second that. I'm soaking in the D&D rules vault at light-speed and as a new DM, a place to pick the brains of you "old timers" would be a great resource.

08-31-04, 11:24 AM I'm not sure another forum is necessary, or that it would be beneficial. I think most of the issues discussed here currently are already DM-related, and splitting the traffic between here and another forum might dilute the readership.

Furthermore the breakdown of Eberron forums now is more content-based than audience-based -- classes vs. magic vs. combat, roughly speaking, rather than player vs. DM -- so where would a DM post an idea for a villain prestige class, if there were an additional DM forum?

I think if you have a generic-content idea that would be useful for DMs, posting it here and calling out the thread with "For DMs" works just fine. My 2c.
