Bag Of Even more Holding [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-25-05, 06:50 PM My Dm is currently running Whisper of the Vampires blade, and we just got done with the air ship crash, and most of us are in the locker of holding. Now I play a Warforged who just took his first level in Juggernaut and has an 18 str, and there is a wizard in the party that can make me large and bulls strength me and all that great stuff. But I was wondering how much would that locker weigh? He gave me the stats for the locker it is a Huge bag of holding, and can hold 15,000lbs and 2,500 cubic feet. But it doesn’t give it weight. The ship just crashed so im not really that worried about it being bolted on to anything, and I could probably remove anything that is attached to it. So im just looking for a reasonable weight.

10-25-05, 07:40 PM A type 4 bag of holding will hold 1,500 lb and weighs 60 lb. Your hold will hold 15,000 lb, so I would say 600 lb would be about right. Just multiply everything by 10.

10-25-05, 07:54 PM Type 1 - 4 types of bags of holding use a 6%-3.5% of total weight held of thier extradimensional capabilities.

I would say from my mathematical background that it would weigh 5% of it's total extradimensional capacity.

type 1 (15x100) /250 = 6%
Just cross multiply to find each bag's percent of total EW (extradimensional weight)

6, 5, 3.5, and 4% EW for Type I-IV respectively. Thus we find an average for general application for EW. 4.625% is the average.

(15000*4.625)/100 = 693.75 lbs of weight should be the expected weight of the actual container.

15000 lbs storage, 2500 cubic ft, 700lbs

Does this look acceptible?

10-25-05, 08:06 PM Hey My Dm Just Finish this Mission ^^, The Airship is were my Courpted Cleric Was Creamated and Cut in to by the Elemental Ring >.<. But Before the big fight, He had to do a bunch of Bluffing >< We ended up putting a body in the Bag and framing a Vampire ^^;. See The Bag can Double as a Compact body bag.

Enlarge person doesn't work on warforged... it requires a humaniod target, which disqualifies warforged from benefitting from this spell.
