What does your group have? My group has a lightning rail cart that they operate out of, it was inspired by the train from Wild Wild West. Two floors, with 4 mounted repeating crossbows on the roof, 4 bedrooms, two guest rooms, an alchemy laboratory, a workshop, one storage room, a kitchen, a vault (House Kundarak originally owned the cart) and an entertainment room. |
| Megatron11-18-04, 10:57 PM | My group is employed by a (consulting...) detective agency that operates out of the back room of a middleclass Tavern. They get room and board in exchange for investigating, small civic jobs, and the occasional mercenary work. The tavern, The Crimsonthorn Inn, is in Sharn (haven't given it a concrete location within the city yet, still waiting on my copy of Sharn). They've gotten to know a few of the regulars of the Inn - The alcoholic warforged veteran who serves as an unofficial bouncer, the gnomish manservant of the Agency's owner, and the goblin spiritual advisor to the proprietors family are a few examples. |
| RatFlail OF DOOM!!!!11-18-04, 11:00 PM | I have two campaigns. In my psionic campaign we have a fortress on our genesis plane in the astra plane. In our regular campaign we reside in Sharn inns. *we really dont care where we are but as far defences we have a bunch of tether hounds guarding our psionic fortress* |

| Bubba33311-18-04, 11:10 PM | Can warforged get drunk? I'd love a warforged drunken master! :P |
| Megatron11-18-04, 11:16 PM | ah, no they can't. But when I DM, they can. ;p to quote my own website's DM notebook Warforged Supression: In my campaign, Warforged can suppress their immunity to poison and can sleep (dreamless rest). This allows my warforged veterans to get drunk, and for my weary shopkeeps to drift away from their continuous tedium. This houserule reinforced the idea that warforged aren't, by any means, robots AND it allows for a plethora of story elements and tone details. |
| Ithamar11-19-04, 12:27 PM | All of the players in my group are from different parts of Khorvaire, but right now they are HQ'ed in Sharn. There is a wizard that was an assistant librarian at Morgrave with a small house in Sharn (don't know which district as I don't have the Sharn book yet). They operate from her house, hopefully they'll get a chance to crash some of the other players homes. Of course 2 PC's had their home destroyed in a raid by the Cult of the Dragon Below, they just don't know it yet... |
