| AJ_Impy07-23-04, 09:31 AM | I'm going to be GMing an Eberron game on an online forum, most likely starting at level 5 or 6. Whilst I've been playing and running various roleplaying games since 1996 on similar fora, this will be only my second-ever foray into D&D GMing. (The first was quite possibly the longest-running version of Orc and Pie (http://www.montecook.com/arch_lineos11.html) ever seen, at a day and a half from character submission to denouement.) Anyway. Any and all advice at particular challenges to throw at the party would be greatly appreciated. |

I've found a babau demon to be a great henchfiend for the Lords. CR 6, smart, charismatic and tough. Gather some hired muscle and go out looking to assassinate a member of the Silver Flame or recover an evil magic item. Clerics of the Blood of Vol are also good opponents, if you're using that organization. They might have the new Karrnathi undead as well as some henchmen using the stats for the Order of the Emerald Claw. Finally, a dolgaunt monk, some chokers, and some dolgrims make good opponents. Maybe they're reporting to a mind flayer somewhere in the depths of the Underdark, leading the heroes to bigger adventures. |
