| Megatron09-11-04, 05:04 PM | Visit Siberys.com (http://siberys.com) and look under the Articles section, our friend Zedium wrote up a great conversion of the Book of Vile Darkness. It's kind of scary so keep the young'ins out :D Upcoming Siberys.com conversions for the world of Eberron: Book of Exalted Deeds, by Zedium Expanded Psionics Handbook, by Zedium (half finished?) Frostfell, by myself Dragon #324, by myself Call of Cthulhu d20, by myself |
| Flame_Drake09-12-04, 01:20 AM | Since this is rapidly becoming my lone peeve about the setting I'll state it here vent/ ANY OF THE RELIGON BASED PcRs CAN BE USED IN EBBERON CAN BE USED THE ONES IN BoVD ESSPCIALLY SINCE THEY CAN JUST BE MADE CLASSES FOR BEINGS DEVOTED TO THE IMPRISIONED RAJAHS (sp?)/vent ...sorry just needed to get it out |
| JohnnyONeal09-12-04, 09:36 AM | Cool! I've previously read through this and I recommend it. The section on drugs (http://siberys.com/index.php?&y=articles&z=articles/Zedium-BoVD.php&page=3&id=1031) is probably my favorite, though the vile infusions are also very nice to have. Zedium, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner on this. I was actually in the process of editing it for the Eberron Journal, but I'll just post a link to the Siberys.com version instead. Speaking of the Eberron Journal, for more articles like this, check out our Conversions (http://www.coveworld.net/eberron/conversions.html) section. |
| Zedium09-12-04, 10:53 AM | Yeah sorry for putting it on Siberys.com Johnny, but I hadn't heard of you guys and Spore offered me to put it on the site. Heh, I also had the idea of converting the psionics handbook, just like you guys did, kind of a coincidence, I think I will still finish mine so people can choose between flavors. I do like your idea for the dromites. And why I didn't conver the demon specific prc? Well mostly because I think they don't fit in Eberron, but that is my thing. And for the rest, they are not that hard to convert, indeed they can be done just like you mentioned Flame, just use them for imprisoned radjas, or maybe for the actual demon lords, but just place them in Shavarath and ther evil planes. |
| Flame_Drake09-12-04, 01:59 PM | Yah... sorry about that The article is awsome though, it makes a very good use of all to content in BoVD and made some good adaptaions for the warforged and all Demon Princes are a matter of choice. |
| Nighttfall10-06-04, 10:55 PM | Eh not too shabby. Course I would have had Orcus subtly engaging in a cold war with the Blood of Vol and her minions for control over necromancy. I mean it IS his baby. ;) (Also would have a special planar access in his home to the Land of the Dead that only HE can use. Cause he's that damn cool! All hail Orcus!! |
| deadboydex10-07-04, 01:51 AM | A simple one: all damage inflicted in the Mournlands is vile damage. Natural healing is still out, and magical healing is more rare, but not impossible. |

I see them as "extemist" or perverted sects of the Dark Six religion (or maybe even the sovereign host), In Eberron there are not gods, there concepts of gods, some sect could have a different concept of a god that the ones in the ECSB, or could focus on a single aspect of a god, ignoring the others, for example, I see the Cancer mages as an aberrant sect of the Children of Winter that don't just use disease but become disease. Some example of possible connection. D. of Asmoudeus: lord of dusts D. of Baalzebul: Mockery D. of Dispater: ??? no equivalent, some FOO demon maybe. D. of Mammon: The Fury, the Mockery D. of Mephistopele: Dragon below, lords of dusts?, the Fury T. of Demogorgon: Dragon Below(xoriath) T. of Graz'zt: The Shadow T. of Jubilex: Children of Winter, Dragon Below T. of Orcus: Blood of Vol, the Keeper. Of course soem of this would need some tweaking, removing the connection to the archfiend, changing the prereq and some of the abillities maybe. |

| WizO_Sith10-07-04, 09:13 AM | Ok, there are a couple of problems with this thread... First, advertising a website is usually a no-no (we will usually let it slide if it's not a commercial website and if the "ad" isn't the sole focus of the thread). Second, BoVD material belongs exsclusively in the "Mature" forums. The BoVD (and the BoED for that matter) deal with themes and subjects that are not appropriate to the mainstream boards. For those two reasons I'm locking this thread and I must insist that it not be restarted. Thanks. *Click* |
