Greetings Eberron Fans,

The last few weeks have shown lots of fanfare for Eberron, both positive and negative.

I'm sure many of you know of the Eberron FansiteThe Breland Ledger News Journal (http://breland-ledger.blogspot.com/), and its home site Coveworld: Eberron (http://www.coveworld.net/eberron/index2.html).

The site is very graciously run by Johnny Oliane a fellow New Yorker and Eberron Fan.

Originally TBL started as an outlet for Eberron scoops/news and previews to the upcoming campaign setting, much like Enworld was for D&D 3.0 and today all RPG's.

After Eberron's release the site has moved on to become an active Fan Resource for Eberron Fans. The site hosts various Fan works which have been found across messageboards and chatrooms.

The majority of site content can be found in three sections.

Lore (http://www.coveworld.net/eberron/lore.html) : Fan Made Maps, Original Fan Art (including DMAC's incredible work), Items and Artifacts, NPC Organizations, a Demographics Generator and more.

Conversions (http://www.coveworld.net/eberron/conversions.html) : Fan written conversions for material originally printed in WOTC Products and Dragon Magazine. Example: Complete Warrior, Compete Divine, etc. This section puts Eberron Flavor and "Creamy" to the crunch found in their pages.

News (http://breland-ledger.blogspot.com/) : The Breland Ledger is the news spot, any and all Official Updates to the Official Website, or to the Fansite, or any other Eberron Information we come across is posted here nearly daily. If you have a scoop, email us at brelandledger@gmail.com

My identity over at the Ledger is Brueklen d'Cannith.

The site also has a Chatroom (http://www.coveworld.net/eberron/chatroom.html) , shared with the Korranberg Chronical. Very recently we even had a Chat with Keith Baker, Bill Slavicsek and Mr. Perkins.

The purpose of this post is some "market research" if you will. As an Eberron Fan what do you want to see this site cover. One of the things I do for Coveworld/Breland Ledger, is seak out content and fanwork to be featured there. I'm hoping that we can build a site that can qualify for an Ennie Nomination next year as a website/fan resource. What do you want to see? What do you want to contribute? Stuff like that. Let me, and Johnny know what direction you'd like this site to go.

We recently added links to Original Art, and I'm hoping to add some sort of schedule for IRC games hosted in our chatroom. That sort of thing.

Chime in and let us know!

Thanks,
Brueklen d'Cannith aka

Alright, well, I frequent the site often, and I really like it. Especially the korranberg chronicle. It adds a bit of realism to it, as well as some comedy, as well as providing DMs an interesting handout for their characters should they print one up. I can offer a sew suggestions through...

- I would like to see more spells for Eberron, but as always I just like seeing new spells.

- More items which involve binding elementals and/or the inclusion of dragonshards. More warforged specific items.

- A section for adventure hooks. I know you guys are working on a full scale adventure for 1st level, but until then perhaps just some interesting hooks to get creative juices flowing would be cool.

- A place for new monsters. Daelkyr variants or their latest flesh creations, new symbionts, creatures of the Mournland, and other uniquely Eberronesque monsters.

- A place for new feats and PrCs specific to the setting. For instance, classes involving the Emerald Claw of theKing's Citadel.

That's it for now. I'll try to think of more.

I think we already have some spells. Spells from the Mournland. Check the lore section.

Thanks for your comments we'll definatly look into all these things.

By the way folks. I personally am not against accepting submissions of fan made work in all these areas. I'd like to think Im speaking for Johnny as well.

You're all welcome to help take part.

Hey, I know of a few things I'd like to see at the Breland Ledger.

Crossover information from the Korranberg Chronicle - maybe a single story that has two viewpoints?!

Interviews! With Keith, Johnny, Stone_Dog, etc.

In-Character interviews - interviewing such characters as Atgar of Sharn (my personal favorite), Brueklen d'Cannith (close second!), etc.

As always, keep up the good work with the News updates. I've found more Eberron Resources through Johnny's site than any other and I appreciate it!

Also, I truely hope that the Breland Ledger does get nominated for an Ennie, and I know its our hope at the KC (Korranberg Chronicle) that we do as well.

If either Eberron fansite actually wins...I'll be a very happy dwarf.

p.s. Thanks for all the help in the chatrooms, B.K.
