Ok as im right now running and OA game and would just so love to bring the full country into eberron.

Right now this is how im thinking of doing it.

In my game I have given small hint that the world is going to end and a group of demons think the only way to save the world is for them to take it over and move it to the abyss (like thats a new idea  ).

The emperor as already started to collect people to move to a new world (like getting as many of the counttys Tengu to the palace). Little do the players know the emperor is an Acendant Gold dragon (like the mystic they have met and got a few lessons from).

So my idea is when it come time to move them to eberron both of the near god dragons (the mystic and emperor) find there is no free space in the world so use all there energy to form an island off of one of the main places in eberron. My thing is where?

Once I find that out (and how far off the main map I should put it) I can realy right up and think on how it could work out better (plus any ideas you can give as well).

Any ideas and thought would help. (Plus when the players find out that they speak a different vershon of common then the rest of the world think of the fun that will bring :D .)

Where you place the island all depends on what you want to do next. Do you want them to have easy contact with the people of Khorvaire? Or do you want to have the closer to Sarlona and deal with more psionics? Putting it close to Argonnessen will mean the players have to deal with a lot of dragons. Xen'drik has a lot of unexplored territory.

Do you want an island thats already drawn on the map? There are several to choose from. THeres a collection of islands north west of the demon wastes that might work. They are a little far north. You could even treat the demon wastes as a new shadowlands. There are also a collection of islands all around Xen'drik. Putting them around Xen'drik has several effects. It puts distance between most of the established societies of Eberron. Theres lots of territory down there to explore and settle.

There are also islands around Argonnessen and Sarlona that you can use.

If you want to put in on the map yourself, there are plenty of options. You need to decide what direction you want your game to take. Do you want to be primarily a development of relations between Khorvaire and your new island? Do you want it to be close to these societies with barriers in the way to hinder contact? Although you dont have to use psionics, placing the island near Sarlona could create that option if you want to take it. But then you have to deal with the Inspired.

The funny thing is it seams there is alot of people in this world that are psionic (I have a psywar in my group and his chars whole family is psionic (as a matter of fact hes playing a psionic race to).

It also might help if I could see the book :D .

Your idea is cool and it easily could explain how Samurai and Shujenga arrive on the world and teach others their ways...after a few years of gaining the trust of the world so they don't think that the newly arrived island is going to send it's people to take over the world...

It's like, your characters are discovering a whole new world, like Columbus did with this world. Or something like that.

All I hope is that I dont need to sent them though hell to get there (and I mean realy though hell ;) ). I would right more about them and such if I knew where to place it.
