| Debbin01-02-06, 11:17 PM | I plan on running the Shackled City adventure path and was wondering where would be an ideal local to place the city of Cauldron. |
| Errant01-02-06, 11:43 PM | When I set up that adventure path I set it on one of the unmarked islands north of Xen'drik, south-west of Sharn (roughly). Far enough away from Khorvaire that I thought it reasonable it wouldn't be commonly well known (ie thats why its not mentioned anywhere) but close enough to being on the way to Xen'drik that it would be a reasonable stopping off point for travellers heading there. |

| Debbin01-03-06, 03:06 PM | What I was actually thinking of doing was to replace a city entirely with the city of Cauldron. Was wondering if that would be an acceptable way to do it? If I do that, I won't be using a major city like Sharn or anything like it. |

You can use as much or as little of the published info as you need to make it work. I'd second the thought of making it a city out of the 5 nations. There is just more material for those that you can clash with. Other than that, anything in mountains should be fine. Could be some at the border of the demon wastes and eldeen reaches. |
| Feor01-03-06, 04:10 PM | Just a thought, but if you're setting it in Eberron, wouldn't it make more sense to replace Cauldron with an existing city that we don't have maps of? Everything stays the same, you just change the names of stuff and go ahead with the adventure. |
