Broken Anvil Tavern In Sharn [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-26-05, 05:51 PM Does anyone know what district and stuff the Broken Anvil Tavern is in? I haven't been able to figure it out. Does it state it anywhere? All I know is that the tavern is in Mason's Tower. Also, how about Dorasharn Tower or Barmin Tower? I just ran Forgotten Forge, and I'm going to run the published follow-up adventures. I just want to know what part of the city they are in. If it actually doesn't say where it is anywhere, does anyone have any suggestions on where to place it?

EDIT: Hm, just hit me that this should probably be in "People and Places."

05-26-05, 07:12 PM Using the wonderful index on Keith Bakers sight I can tell you the Broken Avil in in the Callestan district of Lower Dura. The rest aren't in there.

05-26-05, 10:29 PM There are two sentences describing the Broken Anvil Inn on page 62 of the Sharn: City of Towers book. I didn't see any reference to either of the towers you asked about though.

THe Broken anvil In. This small tavern with a handful of rooms to rent is carved into a bend in the wall of Mason's tower. House Ghallanda operates the inn, and the host is a matronly hafling named Eranna.

05-27-05, 10:02 AM Yeah, thanks. I just got Sharn: City of Towers yesterday. I found the stuff about the Broken Anvil thanks to Wraith428 pointing me to the district. As for the other towers, unless I hear otherwise, I'm going to put them around the area semi-close to the tavern in Dura.

05-27-05, 03:28 PM It takes a long time to search, but you can find almost anything there.

For example, on page 4 you can find Keith Baker's suggestion that Barmin Tower's House Sivis message station is in Deathsgate.

05-27-05, 03:30 PM I believe Keith once said he had planned on the PCs meeting in a tavern in a decent or upscale neighbourhood in the Forgotten Forge, then in a real dive or dangerous neighbourhood for Shadows of the Last War (two different bars).
