I love the Eberron Campaign Setting. I love the set of intrigue and of NPC's throughout the world. The thing I love the most is a changing environment that is rich and full of secrets and mystery. To further this, I am starting this thread.
This is a resource for DM's looking for adventure ideas and twists to keep the PC's on their toes. Please post anything that has happened in your campaign that has changed the face of Eberron. For instance, the mapping of Argonessen by your PCs. So, please post the PC or PC's that accomplished a world altering event, their levels, and what the event was. This way, future DMs who dislike having their PC's know almost everything about the campaign can feed on these ideas and we can create a semi-living world. Here is a sample entry:

Aeldritch Amanodel of Breland (sorcerer 4/ Mage of the Arcane Order 10) - unites the Twelve and the Arcane Congress into one entity - The Order of the Arcane Arts. With the power of these two groups, he plots to reestablish Cyre as a magical haven.

Ari'ar Naula, Solei d'Phiarlan, and Maul the warforged - foiled a plot by The Lord of Blades to use a seemingly nonmagical wheat that's the component of a slay living spell (eat it, and when the ritual's completed, you die) to hold Sharn and most of Breland hostage. Also, single-handedly aided in the dismantling of the Friends of Eldeen, an ecoterrorist organization opposed to magically enhanced corn (as they termed it, "cornforged") that burned and salted a few farms.

Also garnering a large reputation among the goblins and poor of Sharn for blowing their entire paychecks on food and blankets for the poor and anyone in the depths who needs them.

Aided in the arrest of Dorath ir'Morgol, an individual using an eldritch machine to animate vampires under his control from kidnapped nobles, in order to secure a series of land titles rife with Syberis shards ("and I would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids and your warforged!").

The group:
HaledTash (recently deceased) – Kalashtar Psion and his brother
TomalTash (recently deceased)– Kalashtar Monk
Mara – Wilder; an orphaned human taken in by the Kalashtar brothers’ family and raised with them.
Aggro – Warforged Soulknife and his traveling companion...
Rusa (ROOS –ah) aka “the Iron Rose” – Psi –Warrior

The long and the short of it:
While investigating the origins of Aggro the group came across a plot of the Dreaming Dark to infect the Kalashtar with a Psionic Disease that only killed the Kalashtar. The group was manipulated/tricked into actually helping the Dreaming Dark Inspired agents by providing a vitally needed “psionic signature” from a tissue sample taken from HaledTash in a battle they thought they had one. Learning of their error the group was unfortunately unable to prevent the making of the Psionic Disease in time. However the disease only affected those Kalashtar of the Tash line. Sadly this resulted in Haled’s and Tomal’s death. Every member of the Tash line will soon be infected as simply being within the presence of an infected mind spreads the disease. The Dreaming Dark is now attempting to modify the Psionic Disease to affect all Kalashtar, unless the group can find a cure.

I was going to say the disease killed every Tash anywhere on Eberron, but that didn’t sound much like how a disease works, and it seemed a bit cruel; I’m already hated for “killing” Haled and Tomal (the players are taking a hiatus anyways as they study for their exams…and I have plans on bringing Haled and Tomal back once the players come back).

And in another campaign there is the “Reunification of the House of Shadows”. Which if it works out will leave 11 Dragonmarked Houses.
