Salla 02-11-07, 11:58 PM	I'm trying to make up one of those handy character questionnaire things for Eberron, but I'm having trouble thinking of good, specific questions that would help the players think about their proverbial 'place in the world'. Character Name, Race, Class: Nation/Region of Origin: Religion: Eberron has fewer Heroic characters than most settings, most of whom stand out in some way during their childhood or adolescent, demonstrating extraordinary potential. How did this manifest itself in your character? The Last War, over a century of unbridled conflict, ended a scant two years ago. How did the War affect your character? Did he fight, and if so, for whom? Who did he want to win? Towards the end of the Last War, an event called the Mourning laid waste to the entire country of Cyre. What does your character think caused it? Other thoughts?
Elemental_Elf 02-12-07, 02:22 AM	:thumbsup: I totally just borrowed this for my campaign. This is perfect. Hmm, other questions... You should add something to the war question that asks if during the war you grew to love/hate a particular people/nation and why? Another question, would be to ask who did he want to loose as well as win. I know many of my characters certainly had stronger feelings about who they wanted to see loose the war rather rather than win. Other than that, I can't think of anything. The questions are great because their specific yet open to interpretation, just like everything in Eberron! :D

Views on Abberant Dragonmarks range from outright panic and paranoia to indifference. How does your character view Abberant Marks? What does your character think of the 'new' nations, like Droaam, Darguun, and Valenar? What does your character think of the more 'savage' members of polite society, such as goblinoids and other monstrous races? Aundairian: What's your character's opinion on the Eldeen Reaches situation? How much has your character traveled? Would he be marveled at the Lightning Rail and stare in awe at an airship, or have these marvels of modern magic become trivial to them? Are changelings mostly conniving thieves and tricksters, or mostly just another people trying to find their place? Do Warforged have souls? Should Warforged be free? What should be done with displaced Mourners? Does your character regularly read any of the newspapers that circulate Khorvaire? Can Sivis be trusted with confidential and sensitive messages?
