| Treymordin08-08-05, 02:39 PM | Are the character sheets for Eberreon out yet? |
| bassjon08-08-05, 02:43 PM | Yes they are - in the UK at least |
| Euangelion08-08-05, 02:59 PM | I saw them in my FLGS (along with ExH and Stormwrack). |
| DragonWatcher08-08-05, 03:23 PM | I've seen that the sheets are out, but what I want to know is if they're worth shelling out some cash. Can anyone who bought the sheets tell me what they have going for them? I have some standard D&D sheets created by Mad Irishman that are pretty fantastic, but if these sheets have some information that will help my players then I would be willing to buy them. However, if it's just pretty artwork, then I'll pass. Thanks for the help. :) |
| Soulkeeper08-08-05, 03:41 PM | Weren't they linked as a downloadable 4 page PDF's somewhere, or are those *different* Eberron Character Sheets? |
| MrFilthyIke08-08-05, 05:26 PM | I bought them as I want a "complete" Eberron set. :D They' actually less art than the free ones. It's neat, as you get a sheet that integrates psi-stuff, and section for character quirks and background, log sheets, etc. Fun stuff. Maybe not worth $15, but you DO can a neat Eberron art folder. :) |
| ccerose08-08-05, 05:29 PM | From July previews: Inside the pockets of this protective folder, you'll find a full set of Dungeons & Dragons character sheets for use in any Eberron or other D&D campaign. Each character sheet features an attractive folio-style layout, giving you plenty of room to keep track of everything that makes your characters unique. INCLUDES: A four-page introductory character sheet designed for new players, with instructions on how to fill it out. Four-page character sheets suitable for martial characters, skill-focused characters, spellcasters, psionics users, and multiclass characters. Four-page character development sheets, which you can use to flesh out your character's background and personality, as well as track your character's career path. Four-page adventure log sheets, which you can use to keep track of encounters, NPCs, and campaign details. Spell lists for all the spellcasting classes in the Player's Handbook, Complete Adventurer, Complete Arcane, and Complete Divine, plus spell lists for the assassin and blackguard prestige classes described in the Dungeon Master's Guide. A list of infusions for the artificer class described in the Eberron Campaign Setting. Every character sheet, adventure log, and spell list is easy to photocopy, so you'll always have a fresh sheet on hand when you need one. |
| Treymordin08-08-05, 06:20 PM | sounds cool. |
| Gantores08-08-05, 06:21 PM | Save your money on the character sheets. I bought mine yesterday and was totally disappointed. I currently have a set of the deluxe character sheets and they have been helpful, complete and concise. The new Ebberon character sheets are a huge step backwards, and don’t even deliver what was promised. The print is larger and less efficient than the previous character sheets. They also have a printing error for wizards where for their spell sheet, where all the spells used to be conveniently listed, is now blank, yet they included this for all the other spell based classes. And the point that angers me most, there is no “In addition to the standard D&D classes, a sheet is included for the new class introduced in Eberron.” As advertised in the products section. What you receive is two copies of a generic character sheet with a few added fields to compensate for the realm of Ebberon. There is also nothing to help compensate for Ebberon specific characters combinations. Even the inclusion of the infusions for the artificer is simply short of what a class which is so defining of Ebberon deserves. Now I admit that I am angry and disappointed, so my review of the product might seem harsh. But I also felt that I was going to be receiving an Artificer specific character sheet finally. Ebberon finally was able to get my play group to move away from Classic AD&D. We have been having a great time and everyone loves the fact that they have character sheets with their skills already checked off for their class, specific ability tables conveniently placed on their character sheet. I was willing the shell out the $15 simply so the Artificer in my group could have that same warm and fuzzy feeling of seeing Artificer printed across his character sheet, similar to everyone else’s. Heck, every other class I have found detailed out in supplemental books you can download for free, and they are the same quality and style of the Deluxe character sheets. So what I can say here is save your money, just download the free Ebberon character sheets from the website here. The deluxe Ebberon sheets really provide you with nothing. In fact, they should have simply called them the Ebberon character sheets, and then later released a set of character sheets which are similar to the Deluxe character sheets. |
| RagingDemon08-08-05, 06:47 PM | what' s the matter with wizards' artist/writer/author and misc working groups lately? their seem to be making many mistakes... i bought the EDM screen some days ago and was completely disappointed... typos and the mark of healing missing... eberron books seem to have mistakes all over, now the sheets... :( i hope that explorer' s handbook is as good as they say because i' ll not spend €15 to buy the character sheets. the one on the website works fine for me, plus its free. i don' t have a problem to spend money but i find the lack of responsibility and error control irritating. i mean... after all those sheets are only a couple of pages and the EDM screen was only a bunch of boxes taken from the source books. and yet they did mistakes!!! |
