Now, this article is not specifically listed as being Eberron. However, it does include an artificer. What I found interesting was the fact that it showed an artificer interacting with characters that WotC had created as iconic characters for D&D.

Anyone else's thoughts on the article?

Anyone else's thoughts on the article? It's a "green" article: that means it's an Eberron article.

It also mentioned the deity Onatar, an Eberron-only god. :) Even the adventure hooks mention a warforged.

I think this will be a fun series (looks like it's meant to be a 14-part article, so 14 different neat items).

Note that the byline author (SKR) is different then the accredited author (Wolfgang Bauer)

And isn't the artificer talking to Redgar?

Curiouser and Curiouser.

I wonder what country Regdar fought for during the Last War, and what Mialee would say if she met her great-great-great-great-dead-grandfather in Aerenal? :D

I can't say I'm thrilled about a 14 part series. Or Sean K. Reynolds writing them. I'd rather they chose a different author and devoted 14 articles to something better, like say... Keith Baker and DRAGONSHARDS.

SKR confirmed it's not his. Go bash on wolfgang! (Sean does mostly Faerun stuff).

Sean did some early Eberron stuff (for the website).

I was wondering since Wolfgang's Open Design Project touches on clockwork stuff (the patron only adventure is "Steam & Brass"). I don't remember him mentioning this on that website.

To clarify my original post, I swear it said Sean K. Reynold's name in the article credits when the article first went up, and only now says Wolfgang Baur's name.

I don't know who Wolfgang is, so I still stand by my original post.

I just wanted to assure myself that I am not crazy.

You are entirely, 100 percent correct. It did say Sean K. Reynold's at first. Now it doesn't.

Actually, I'm not sure I really like clockwork stuff in Eberron, to be honest. Why make little clockwork dealies when I can just use animate objects?

*shrug* Willing to give it a shot, but the first bit didn't really strike me as all that cool.

Cheers,
