now the question
what kind of clothing would an dwarf wear
1.what's the style in sharn this year ?
2.will it change ?
3.if yes, to what ?

and anyway what is the fashion in Sharn or Khorvaire in general

Well that's atleast according to A Dragonshards article about the Dwarves of the Mror Holds Part 2 Under Mror Fashion.
They are very much into showing their station in life with fine clothing and jewelry. Also, check out pg.13 ECS for a look at a couple of dwarves.

As far as the fashion of Sharn. According to a thread I just saw asking about races and ethnicity of the people of Khorvaire, I think you need look no further than the ECS pgs. 11-15. Especially page 11, It shows five Humans described by Mr. Baker in that thread as representative of the differing looks of the Five Nations. The bard on the end was described as looking as if he hung out in the more seedier parts of Sharn... Check out those boots!

I bet all in all though, fashion is very varied especially in Sharn. Sort of like any major metropolis.

11-25-04, 02:05 PM I think I can speak to this one. . .

There are 2 major clothing designers in Sharn, both gnomes: Thurik Davandi and Hellien Clebdecher. Both specialize in glamerweave, magical fabric with illusions woven into it (check out page 122 of the ECS for more info on clothing). Davandi and Clebdecher are in the Sharn Sourcebook.

Each of the 5 nations has its own unique styles (more info to come in the future, obviously). Aundair is especially fashion-concious.

Also, check out "Sharn Secrets" in The Korranberg Chronicle (http://www.kchronicle.com)--there's a fashion section in every article, complete with illustrations!
