I was just wondering if anyone has used any of the generic adventures on the main D&D site in Eberron, how you modified the story to fit, where you placed it, etc.

I am using "The Burning Plague" as the opening adventure for a new campaign I am begining.

The town of Duvik's Pass I am placing in The Black Caps near the Cragwar side. The entry to Cragwar, in Five Nations, says that it is used as a trade town and economic center for mining villages/towns in the mountains. It says that the area is known for its silver mines. The mine in Burning Plague is a silver mine.

The mine denizens are kobolds and then one orc cleric and the zombie minions he created. For the kobolds I am drawing from the Dragonshard article by Keith Baker called Kobolds of Khorvaire (I think). The warband that infests the mining tunnels are the Khyber race. I thought that fit the area since the Black Caps are also known to have entrances to Khyber.

The orc cleric I decided was part of a small orc tribe that was part of a Cult of the Dragon Below. Ten years ago that tribe was slaughtered by persons looking to open the area for economic profit (possibly influenced by House Kundurak or Aurum concerns; note that Cragwar has quite a bit of influence by both and being nearby probably this area too).

The orc cleric is now attempting to get revenge by creating the Burning Plague to destroy the people of Duvik's Pass and beyond if possible. I noticed in a sourcebook (not sure of which one) that one of the domains for a dragon below cult was Pestilence (ie: disease).

Since this adventure was short and simple I didn't have to mess with it a lot.

I am also considering using the adventure with the calzone golem I cant remember its name. Also a short one. Thought I might place that one in Sharn.

I'm currently running Dark & Stormy Knight, a WoTC 1st level adventure. Luckily, it concerns an undead Bugbear from an ancient goblinoid culture. I put the Tor in Breland, 2 days away from Sterngate near the Marguul pass through the Seawall Mountains.
The hobgoblin scouts are from the Kalkor tribe of the Marguul clan, looking to start a bandit camp.
The characters have taken prisoners, so they'll have to take them to Sterngate.

The adventure needs very little tweaking to be put into Eberron.

I'm thinking of running The Burning Plague next, in a goblinoid village in the Seawall Mountains. I'll make the villagers goblins and the orcish cleric of Gruumsh into an orcish Children of Winter druid.
