Craft DCs for 'forged imbedded items [Archive] - Wizards Community

08-18-04, 10:58 AM Anyone have an idea for DC's for Craft (whatever) to imbed an item into a warforged.

I assume a warforged repair kit would help.

08-19-04, 02:41 AM I believe, IIRC, that the DC for embedding an item is generally agreed to be the same as creating an without embedding. At least there is no DC listed in the book.

08-19-04, 02:09 PM As far as I can tell, there is no Craft check for embedding a war-forged component. They work like amulets; you just snap it in place and then its good to go. Maybe you'd have to make one if the war-forged was disabled somehow, or if you were doing it against his will.

08-19-04, 02:19 PM Yes, check the section for Warforged items in the back of the book. It says that anything that can be crafted for a non-warforged can also be crafted specifically as a component for a warforged, no extra cost. I assume this would apply to embedded as well as attatched pieces.
