The ECS's module, The Forgotten Forge, says that Cutter's (The warforged barbarian encountered in Part 1.) rage lasts 3 rounds, when the information on rage from PHB says that it would be 7 (3 + the new Con (19) modifier, 4)

Was that a typo or is there something I missed?

No, you are correct.

But a barbarian can willingly end the rage, so no harm done. And its better for the adventure if Cutter ends her rage. It does say that she remembers her goal when the rage ends. Maybe she ended the rage because she remembers her goal.

Ah, ok, cause I was gonna pump Cutter up to a 3rd level Barbarian for my group of 12 level 1 players and watch her tear two or three of them to shreads.

Of course, the warforged in the group is a fighter with the Adamantine feat, so I think they're cool...maybe. (Oh, I so hope the wizard forgets to cast Repair Light Wounds... )

I love watching people have to adapt to new campaign settings and rules.

No, it's something WE missed. In one of the early versions of the warforged (they went through about 7 revisions), they had no Con score. When I wrote the adventure, this was the case -- so the warforged barbarian only raged for 3 rounds. (Spoiler) As a side note, originally Saber was a warforged scout; ultimately we decided not to include the scouts in the first book. So he shoots you with the flaming bolt, threatens you in this scary, booming voice, and turns out to be this tiny little guy! "Pay no attention to the warforged behind the curtain." Of course, he could still kick your ass...

Really? Well, since I have MMIII, I might just change that, it certainly would be funny for the group to have to go through (and unexpected...which is always good.)
