Hedstrong 11-13-05, 08:24 PM	Im not sure if anyone has done sumthing like this before but this is a campaing style i really enjoy playing in Ebberon. Basically its just like Ghostbusters, the PC's have a business based in Sharn, they send out scouts into the country side to small villages, some not even on the map. Whenever the scouts find a place with a problem, monster or otherwise, they offer the PC's service to get rid of the problem. When the scout is paid, he sends word to the PC's, they come over and try to fix the problem. This has led to some rather fun encounters throught Breland, and a few times in other places (special clients), when ever business is slow, somin comes up in Sharn itself, or hunting down a scout thats decided to run with the payment. Ths sorta thing can happen at different levels, at low, the business is slow and relies heavily on poor country side business. At higher levels the company has grown in size and fame. Meaning big better cliens, (though less charisma and uniqueness). Another boon towards the bigger business is other teams of PC level characters for them to compete for the top team placement in the company. I thought I'd share the way im currently playing and maybe inspire some Dm's who are looking for a different way besides we adventure for destiny or glory.
