| Munz12-14-04, 01:58 PM | I've read Whispers of the Vampire's Blade and am currently reading the Sharn: City of Towers book when I realized something... There is no mention of the Dark Lantern Citadel within the contents of the Sharn: book! Sharn: mentions the King's Citadel but does not make mention of the Dark Lantern Citadel. Am I to assume they are one in the same? Was it left out intentionally or by mistake... IS there such a thing? Or was the Whispers of the Vampire's Blade written so the players would have been duped into believing they were doing a service for the Dark Lantern Citadel when indeed they were hired by a more devious and cunning organization. Does anybody have any thoughts on this matter? Thanks |

I've thought of three possible solutions. 1) Viorr is a decoy for the true captain Talleon Haliar Tonan 2) He is replaced by the captain from the Sharn book in some kind of internal coup. 3) He is a member of a third party that is impersonating the Dark Laterns for there own ends. |
| ieattrollsforbreakfast12-14-04, 03:36 PM | Just to confirm things for you Munz...the Dark Laterns are a divison of the King's Citadel, not a separate organisation. There is information about the Dark Lanterns in the Sharn book under the King's Citadel in either the organisations or law and order chapters. |

However, LordRo brings up an interesting point about Viorr not being the actual head of the organization. Wether he is fronting for "the Man" or is part of something else would be an interesting topic to follow up on. Thanks |
