December Theme: Cold in Eberron! [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-06-04, 06:16 PM Because this month's boardwide theme is cold, I thought I'd start this thread for all topics frigid, chilly, and icy in Eberron. To start us off: What are people thinking about doing with the Frostfell, as it seems there won't be much info on it per se?

Seriously, there have been hints to Frostfell being the ancestral land of the dwarves (and because of their hereditary giant fighting training...giants, the chilly kind.)

Manifest zones to Xoriat (I think this is the frozen plane) would abound. Giant societies still exist using dwarves as a slave race instead of elves? Sleeping ancient white dragons (waiting for a revelation in the prophecy...this age holds no interest for them...or something has just changed to pique their interest...Mourland?)

Like the Viking explorers of Iceland and Greenland (and disputedly North America) maps of varying quality probably exist of some southern shores. Perhaps and island like Iceland or Greenland.

Man, some wires got seriously crossed here. Xoriat is the plane of madness, where the daelkyr are. The cold plane is Risia, the Plane of Ice.

Heh, I always like a little non-serious adventure, and "Adventurers Save Christmas" would be great. You'd have to revolve it around someone kidnapping Santa ("Someone kidnapped Santa? That does not rock!"), and then make it as ridiculous as possible. Even more ridiculous than pteradactyls. :D
