Greetings!
I already ordered my ECSB from Amazon.com, and it is on it's way to me (the delivery will take a long time, because I live on the other side of the world). Now, with the rumors (facts) about the many defective books with missing pages, etc., I am very worried about my copy. I virtually can't exchange it, because the postal expenses will be almost as much as the cost of the book itself. Furthermore, if my book is defective, even if I order another, there is still no guarantee that everything will be all right with it. For now nobody complained about receiving a defective ECSB from Amazon.com, so I am hoping that everything is ok with their books...

I am also in suspense, wondering if amazon has good copies or not! I've got my fingers crossed. .

According to amazon's package tracking link, my copy is currently in a UPS airplane flying somewhere over Nevada, and it took off on Friday. :P Assuming the plane hasn't crashed on an uncharted island off the coast of california, I should have my Eberron book tomorrow. I'll post here again after I open the package...

I would not worry too much about the cost of returning if it is defective. My experience with Amazon has been thus; I brought the Radio4 Adaptation of LoTR a few christmas ago (13 CD's), cd 11 was defected (took me a while to find out), emailed Amazon cust services they sent out a new box set and said not to bother returng the old one as that would be too expensive.
