Devil's Due Acquires D&D Rights - Eberron comic? [Archive] - Wizards Community

There's going to be a Drizz't comic in June. Devil's Due has also acquired the rights to publishing Eberron comics, so will they do it? Maybe if we wrote in petitions they would consider it. Would you want them to? How about City of Towers: the Graphic Novel? ;)

03-30-05, 01:16 PM Heh, I just sent off an email to Devil's Due asking if there were any plans for the Eberron line they aquired yet or not. I'll be sure to post up their answer, if/when I get it.

03-30-05, 07:51 PM I'm not sure how I feel about an Eberron comic book. First, as a general rule, I haven't liked any of the D&D-related comics. Whether for awful art, writing or both. Second, aside from Jae Lee's superb GI Joe/Transformers cross-over, I don't like the quality of Devil's Due publications. While the art is decent (but not great), the writing is mediocre at its best. While I'm curious, I'm not holding my breath either.

“It's our goal to eventually tackle original Eberron stories, and later, original material with above mentioned D&D characters,” Blaylock said. “Eberron is all about traveling from continent to continent, whereas many of the other D&D worlds are about staying within one world. I like that about it, and I love the ‘Warforged’ characters, so I hope everything works out to have original material by 2006."
