Did every king of Galifar have 5 kids? [Archive] - Wizards Community

I am reading the five nations book and I am a little bit confused with the history of the kingdom of Galifar.
Almost 1000 years ago, Galifar gave one of each province to his 5 children.
Then the tradition was that the new king would be the eldest of the scions (until the beginning of the last war).
But, what happened to each province? Were the governors replaced by the kids of the new king? This looks like the case, since 100 years ago, at the beginning of the last war, all governors were siblings.
So that means that each king must have 5 kids :eek:

Did I miss something?

08-30-05, 09:38 PM The Emperor of Galifar was the Eldest of the Five Kingdom's Rulers.

If his own son was the eldest after he died (since they would rule the Kingdom they came from), then they would be the only way to inherit the Empire.

There is a paragraph about "Royal Succession" explaining everything.
This paragraph is in the chapter about "Thrane". I am wondering why. :rolleyes:
It would have been better in the Introduction.
