Can someone explain to me a little better then the ECS as to how this ability works..?
What type of action does it use?
You can go less than the max distance? If you go less then the distance then are you able to use it again to go the remaining distance (like a shadowdancers leap ability)?

thanks

It is a standard action. Last line before it describes the Lesser Mark. Unfortunately, it also says "or dimension leap 1/day; +2 bonus on Survival checks." I expect that if it worked like shadow jump, it would be spelled out.

Just as a character with the Lesser Mark power of dimension door can still only use it once per day not matter how far he goes with it, a character with the Least Mark is likewise limited.

I might rule otherwise. But thats how I see the official interpretation coming down.

On a side note, I recommend Dimension Leap for use in combat, porting in above an enemy and bearing them to the ground. Especially if you have sneak attack.

I'm so disappointed you can't use it when grappling to teleport someone's head off.
