I really got no idea how a single tower is setup, how the city layout is setup, and such. Are tower floors like blocks in which there are multiple buildings around on each tower? Are bridges like roads? Large enough for horses? Are there ramps for wagons and horses or just stairs? Any elevators? How many floors are usually on one tower? How many shops/inns/houses does a tower floor consist of? |

The ideal solution would be to run a small interim campaign for a few weeks (perhaps start your campaign on a train or airship heading for Sharn, and have something occur on board that'll keep your players occupied for a little while), then buy the Sharn: City of Towers sourcebook in November. EDIT: Meanwhile, have a look at the recent Welcome to Sharn! (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ebds/20040927a) Dragonshards article for some advance information. |

Maybe when Sharn comes out, we'll find out that in all the neighborhoods there are 100 houses on a floor of a tower, if my players ask out of character, then I'll tell them to find out IN character. Maybe there was an incident a few years ago or something. |
