Well after doing the Forgotten Forge briefly last week for the World D&D Day events, I volunteered to DM at the local gaming store I live by.

Wasn't expecting to run something this past Sunday, but after getting called about 10 mins before I was supposed to be there, I packed my stuff and ran.

I had wanted to do a personal campaign, but in the end since I wasn't prepared, I just started the Forgotten Forge, well not exactually. I decided to start before the Forgotten Forge, using Bonal Geldam as an intro NPC. One of the PC's knew him, so the group (consisting of an Elven Fighter, Human Cleric, Kalashtar Psion, Kalashtar Psion/Rogue, Elven Ranger, Human Druid, and a Human Artificer) got to know him slightly.

So I still need to figure out a campaign, as to be honest, as much as I love the Eberron Modules, I'd really like to go with my own ideas...

Guess I just wanted to talk about it and see what people thought... :)

Nothing wrong with freedom of thought just keep in mind this is eberron. "Okay you guys step into a room, and see Elmister, and Drizzt playing that weird chess game from star trek." An easy way to keep your course would be that ten dollar quest shadows of the last war. I beleive it was created to continue were the forgotten forge left off. Besides that I can only recomend a lot of self contemplation, and scrying dungeon magazines.
