You could read it that either a PC only has one that can only be changed when it's damaged and the choices get more varied as you get higher. Or you could read it that a half-blood gets an additonal personal symbiont every five levels. I do understand that any other symibionts gathered as treasure or gifts can't be regrown or traded as personal symbionts. |
| Brastan10-15-05, 05:21 PM | You only get one. It its killed you can make an new one in few days. As you advance in level you can replace your personal symbiont with a different one if you've advance to the necessary level on that table (P. 37). |

I read it somewhere in the middle, where you only get one, but you could switch it out when other choices became available. |
