| darkthought11-07-05, 12:51 AM | I like the article keith, and it helps me with a halfling ranger and his Clawfoot. I happily kick ass and take names in the name of my spiritual ancestors, and feed what's next to my velociraptor pal. :) |
| Edymnion11-07-05, 01:04 AM | This one was really short, and it is, again, missing the download link. :( http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/articles/dnd_ebsi_20051107a.zip There, at least we can download it manually while we wait for them to fix the article again. |
| Hellcow11-07-05, 05:51 AM | This one was really short... And yet it is, in fact, still 20% over the target size I'm paid to write to. So it COULD have been even shorter! Since the series began, I've been spoiling you by writing more than I'm paid to do. I'll probably continue to do so in the future. But the fact of the matter is that when you get an article longer than this, you're getting a bonus. This one isn't short; instead, most of what I write is too long (as far as my contract is concerned). |
| Splendide11-07-05, 05:56 AM | Well, then clearly Wizards aren't contracting you for enough! We want more Shard! |
| Siberys11-07-05, 06:39 AM | That description of the Mask Weavers sucking up the spirits of the dead - That sounds exactly like a Necrocarnum user. A totemist could also probably be used for a mask weaver... That's it! I'm making a new soulmeld - Talenta Mask!!! :evillaugh |
| Mula11-07-05, 06:40 AM | Yeah, Wizards, pay the guy more. Talenta maskweavers are really cool. I'd actually say that most maskweavers are spirit shamans, using Knowledge (local) for the stories passed down the generations. Some wilder ones are druids, then. |

| Hellcow11-07-05, 02:33 PM | Man, they're paying you for a freaking paragraph every other week? Pretty much. Compare the length of Dragonshards to, say, the Sharn Inquisitive - the long ones are FAR longer. Do we need to start a letter writing campaign to get them to pay you for the full page? :D The trick is that it's free content, so they simply don't have a huge budget for it. It may be a short article - but it's a free article! |

According to the time stamp on this post, you posted it at 5:51 am EDT, which by my calculations puts it at 3:51 am MT, and then you posted again at 2:33 EDT, making it 12:33 pm in your time zone (assuming you're home in Boulder). Don't tell me that posting on these boards is the last thing you do before going to sleep and the first thing you do when you wake up! "Get your rest.
