First, will it be something they would even be able to decipher? I picture it being written in draconic, but being extremely cryptic, like a Quatrain of Nostradamus. I also like that it might attract a lot of attention from different groups. They will be working for the Arcane Congress when they discover it, so they will defiantly take interest in it, but what about other groups? Would the Chamber pay them a visit? Other power groups throughout Khorvaire? Any input would be helpful. |

It is a sort of cryptic little bit, that you might not understand unless you had the whole picture. It's been nice to start to reveal little bits to the players, and it's also a great place to let those characters who spent points in Knowledge get some good use out of them. My campaign is starting to get more and more centered around prophecy and oracle, as I'm leading up to the adventure in Hyperconscious and so I've introduced the "Seven Sages." Anyway here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v294/CJGMURPG/notes/LetterfromMrinak.jpg) is the little bit of prophecy I gave my PCs. The events it refers to are the build-up of Fallen Angel and Hyperconscious. Also, if you want a group that would be interested in the prophecy, but not necessarily interested in helping it come to pass, consider The Spider Lords (http://www.eberronbestiary.com/), they're under Features. |

This mighty tome, 3' by 4', can only be read by them and them alone, but when it comes near any coded or encripyted part of the prophesy, the book will open, pages flutter about and in ink (very slowly) the words begin to form and spell out what is written. Has lead to some VERY interesting encounters and all.... they love this thing. |
