| ENHenry10-18-05, 08:32 AM | I cant find a table or guide anywhere for dragon shard prices does one exist? You would probably gauge them by quality and size, just like gemstones, and by rarity, in order of Eberron Shard, then the more Expensive Siberys Shard, and the premium Khyber Shards. A spellbook shard, prepared and empty, is - what, 20 gp I think? A small eberron shard must be pretty inexpensive, maybe ornamental (10gp) or so. Siberys Shards, just going by eyeballing the items produced, might be base 100 gp for a small one, and the Khyber shards are base 1,000 gp for a small one? Those are estimates, nothing official, but seem to fall in line with the costs of magic items produced from them. |
| KBAZZ10-18-05, 09:01 AM | You mean they created a items, that is very intergrated into the entire world.. and made it subjective? Great just what i wanted to do figure out my own price system for them, think it best my pcs never find a single dragon shard cuase i dont wanna deal with it. |
| DragonWatcher10-18-05, 09:25 AM | Pricing guides for dragonshards are covered in Magic of Eberron. I can tell you that Eberron shards are the least expensive, while Siberys shards are in the middle (they're rare, but not extremely hazardous to find), and Khyber shards are the most expensive (they're not as rare as Siberys shards, but take about a week's travel through Khyber to find, which makes them extremely hazardous to harvest). I don't remember the pricing standards off the top of my head, and I'm not sure how legal it would be to post anyhow. But it's in Chapter 1 of MoE. |
| Lazaro10-18-05, 09:25 AM | i suggest grabbing the Magic Of Eberron, it has dragonshrd pricing. |

A 1000 gp shard is a 1000 gp shard like a 5000gp diamond is a 5000gp diamond.What more should you know? |
