| Siberys11-25-06, 05:08 PM | The houses (probably covered by Dragonmarked, I know) Games (Card games, conqueror, Three Stones, et al) Argonnesen and Seren (I know there's already articles on Seren, but. I. Want. More.) All in all, I'll take ANY dragonshard, due to their quality. But If I were to choose the next one, it'd be Games of Khorvaire. What do YOU want to see? Also, Keith - feel free to comment! cheers, Siberys |
| Syltorian11-25-06, 06:28 PM | The Korranberg Chronicle The Eldeen Reaches Tests of Siberys The Twelve (as a group, as opposed to the Dragonmarked Houses themselves) The Carrion Tribes of the Demonwastes (good stuff in the Player's Guide, but I want more). Of the list above, Games of Khorvaire is a great idea. But I too look forward to seeing the dragonshards back, whatever they are about! |
| Siberys11-25-06, 06:53 PM | I can't believe I forgot the Test of Siberys! good call! Cheers, Siberys |
| cancerousmango11-25-06, 09:17 PM | Frostfell. Argonesson. Mollusks of the Zilargo coast. |
| goblin_pride11-25-06, 09:19 PM | Mollusks of the Zilargo coast. Eh? |
| OneWinged4ngel11-25-06, 11:48 PM | GAMES! Yes, that would be awesome. I want to see the games of Khorvaire. That would be fantastic. :D |
| Korhal_IV11-25-06, 11:57 PM | Mollusks of the Zilargo coast. I'd want this one before Games of Khorvaire, no offense. Having games within a game is like taking a picture of yourself standing between mirrors. My characters are ******* pulp heroes driven by eternal prophecy! We've got no time for games! |

You might have to, if the Keeper/Dracolich in the Demonwastes challenges you to a game of Conqueror for the soul of your lost companion... :D |
| goblin_pride11-26-06, 07:55 AM | You might have to, if the Keeper/Dracolich in the Demonwastes challenges you to a game of Conqueror for the soul of your lost companion... :D Silly bugger shouldn't have gone and got himself lost. |
| Darth Syntax11-26-06, 04:42 PM | Honestly, I would love to see Mollusks of the Zilargo Coast knowing the completely irrelevant details (as far as adventuring goes) of the world is far more valuable to me than knowing the internal structure of some organization. I repeat, I am dead serious about this. |
| Bluebrush11-26-06, 07:09 PM | I know I'd want that info when I'm facing down a Zilargan Collosus Squid with nothing more than a +2 flaming butter knife and a napkin from Gimbles House of Marine Munchies. |
| Lady Morn11-26-06, 07:37 PM | By weird coincedence, TCM was running "Mysterious Island" Friday night, which is FULL of giant mollusks! Back on subject: I'd still love to see a series of lexicon Shards offering words, prefixes and suffixes for languages other than Common; especially Goblin, Elvish, Giant and Old Common. Not too long ago, I was looking over the maps of Aerenal and wondered what "Pylas Talaer" translated out to be, for example. Just a thought. :) |
| Korhal_IV11-26-06, 11:52 PM | You might have to, if the Keeper/Dracolich in the Demonwastes challenges you to a game of Conqueror for the soul of your lost companion... :D I hit him with a pawn and yell "SMITE EVIL!" :P |
| Mr. VanderMeer11-27-06, 08:35 AM | I'd like to see a Dragonshard on Dragonshards. More info on all details about prospecting for shards etc. |
| goblin_pride11-27-06, 11:44 AM | Honestly, I would love to see Mollusks of the Zilargo Coast knowing the completely irrelevant details (as far as adventuring goes) of the world is far more valuable to me than knowing the internal structure of some organization. I repeat, I am dead serious about this. Strangely enough, so would I. Flavor text can make or break a game, a well-written article about the mollusks of Zilargo could fuel an adventure based on the breakdown of the export trade. |
| Grymar11-27-06, 03:11 PM | I'd like to see them continue for free, period. However my guess is that we haven't seen them in a while in anticipation of the subscription service they are rolling out soon. |
| Melvin the Mediocre11-27-06, 03:59 PM | Colleges of Korvaire (Reddenmark, Morgrave, The 12, Arcane Congress) The 3 parter on the House of Phiarlan was probably my favorite ever, so seeing the other 11 houses would be really cool. Other than that... ANYTHING! Those have been hands down the best free content I have ever seen from WOTC. I'd pay for them if they kept that quality. PS: What are the Tests of Siberys? Are they in one of the books? |
| Grymar11-27-06, 04:07 PM | The Tests of Siberys are stressful test that adolescents in the Dragonmarked Houses are given to see if they will manifest a Mark. They are not 100% but it is often assumed that if you fail you will probably never manifest a mark. I don't remember what book they were first mentioned in. |
| Count Nerindil Van Seraph11-28-06, 09:53 AM | I hate to rain on the collective parade of theis thread, but Kieth has said that he is not alowed to publish Dragonshards on topics that might appear in up-coming books. So... don't expect anything too monumental. It's going to be mostly interseting but insignificant stuff. The LoBsters favorite color. Seriously though, it might sound corny, but I would not mind a list of recipies for traditional foods from across Khorivare. Mmmm... |
| Bluebrush11-28-06, 12:34 PM | I hate to rain on the collective parade of theis thread, but Kieth has said that he is not alowed to publish Dragonshards on topics that might appear in up-coming books. Though that could also include stuff that didn't quite fit into existing sourcebooks. For example: Dragonmarked didn't have that much detail on Aberrant Marks, so that's ripe for exploring. Keith has mentioned he's something of an over-writer so there's bound to be more info on any of the given houses. |
