Dreadhold (Possible spoilers! Beware!) [Archive] - Wizards Community

We know that Kaius III is Kaius I. It states in the Kaius Revealed sidebar that Kaius I took his Kaius III's place, but it never actually out and out says "he killed him."

Fast forward to the description of Dreadhold in the Lhazaar Principalities. It's rumored to hold an "important prisoner from Karrnath."

Ever seen the movie (or read the book, I suppose) the Man In the Iron Mask? :smirk:

I've seen a couple of people both here and at ENWorld make the same connection back in mid-June, but yeah, I'm thinking the same thing. :)

07-28-04, 09:06 AM assuming that Kaius III is the "man in the iron mask" on dreadhold.how old do you think Kaius III was when Kaius I took over. would it be possible for him to have children before his imprisionment? i am actually working on a meta-plot for my campaign where Kaius III had a daughter and wisked her to safety before the dark forces acted against him. ......................any thoughts?
