My copy is running late. I was planning to run the adventure in Dungeon #113 tomorrow, but now since it's not here I'm up the creek without a paddle.

Can anyone give me a rundown of it so I can get some ideas, particularly in how to build off the adventure in the book?

Has anyone else been getting theirs on the exact same day as they get Dragon, as if both mags had been shipped together?

I called the first time it happened, and was told it was a "delay" - three such delays in a row seems less accidental, and more like a shipping cost reduction attempt...

Are you kidding! I only just got issue 111 three days ago in the post.

Well, that's just great. Game starts in two hours and I'm still stuck.

Anyone actually have the magazine? Anyone? Please?

Already posted on that thread. Got ignored.

But I did run a search for the adventure title, and I found a designer's blog. He mentioned that it was built entirely using the D&D minis terrain tiles, so I think I will do that, and just grab any CR 1/2-3 minis I have and use those.

Wish me luck.

Wow that's pretty cool. It's nice to see more uses of the terrain tiles. Do you have a link to the designer's blog?

I've got the issue now. Did you still need any info?

Yes. I managed to use "Something's Cooking" as a stalling tactic, and allowed me to foreshadow The Queen With Burning Eyes through nightmares. It may still get here by next friday, but some info now would be nice.

SPOILER ALERT!

The adventure includes the following areas of Sharn:

Upper Menthis - upper district of Thurias Tower, aka "Little Xen'drik" for antiquity sales
Downstairs - rowdy tavern district above Cogs
Cogs - heavy industry district in lower Sharn
Dorasharn Ruins - human city, Sharn built upon
Ja'shaarat Ruins - goblin city, Dorasharn built upon
Heart of the Dragon - mystical paradise sought after by Cult of the Dragons Below

The only area mapped out is a temple to the daelkyr in the Ja'shaarat Ruins. The temple was created by twisted goblins. The temple includes a pit that goes deep within Khyber (no info is given on what lies beneath). A naga lives there and has rules over a group of goblins, dolgrims and dolgaunts. A group of kobolds also live here, but personally I would replace these with more goblins.

A Cult of the Dragons Below member with an aberrant dragonmark had a dream about this place and hired a group of adventurers to find it. When they discovered the naga the cult member offered the party as a sacrifice. Since then he has been creating more pathways to the surface world so that the minions can steal from the Cogs.

The adventure gives several different hooks for why your party is the naga's lair, but the main focus is the dungeon itself. In addition to the challenges of the creatures living there, powerful members of the Order of the Emerald Claw are also in the adventure. The original adventurers who brought the dragonmarked cult member to the temple had an important artifact in their possession.
