Just out of sheer curiousity...

I saw the cover online and it highlighted the Lord of Blades - what's this about? Does it have an adventure inside? (I gather not.)

Also, I noticed that issue 115 has a warforged displayed on it. What's the scoop? Is this, too, an adventure that I should pick up for my Eberron campaign?

Also, thanks to everyone who's been posting on my other thread for my campaign at http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=406387

I'll be able to post more info on that thread shortly, I just have to write a paper for my WRIT 121 class! :)

EDIT: Added a Q about issue 115 as well :)

Issue #111 has the official Lord of Blades writeup. There's no scenario, but his background has plot hooks and seeds just dripping from it.

Issue #115 has a scenario set in Sharn. I haven't had a chance to play it, but I've heard it's good. Judging just from the art on the first page of the scenario, it looks like some sort of detective scenario, which is always a good thing.

THanks for the input...

What level is the adventure set for in 115? :)

Issue #111 has the official Lord of Blades writeup.
A minor (but in my opinion, very cool) quibble. This writeup of the Lord of Blades is not "the" official writeup. In fact, I don't think it is official at all. The idea of His Sharpness is that he is a variable opponent, scaled to be a challenge to the individual PCs in YOUR (Or my, or his) campaign. He will likely have more writeups as time goes on, each every bit as official as the last.

*Shudders at the thought of Kerrigan and LOB going out on a date*

Hm...theres a group of creatures in the MHB that remind me of Zerglings that I've wanted to use for a while. I can just see herds of those creatures swarming over the mournlands...

Since he is a Warforged, I would assume that his name actually is The Lord of Blades. Sure, he may be named after a bladed weapon as are his minions, but the forged go with names similar to things in their lifespan so why not go with LoB as your name?

The adventure in issue 115 is called "Steel Shadows," written by Keith Baker himself. It's a who-dun-it about a crazed killer in Sharn targeting warforged itself. I haven't run it but it's a good read. I actually found the social ramifications of the murders more interesting than the mystery itself.

I ran steel shadows about a month ago. We got a couple of sessions out of it and it was great.

I liked it better than any of the Schema modules.

It is fairly heavy on the roleplaying and would be quite easy to convert for higher levels.

Cheers, Chris.
